Independent Calls Elections Illegal At Student Council

Independent representative Murray Campbell presented a petition to the Student Council alleging insufficient polling facilities to handle a large voter turnout. He urged declaring the election illegal or expanding facilities with dorms and the student center used as polling sites.

Pep Rally Sets Sendoff for Northern Illinois Game

Booster club plans a 9:15 to 9:32 a m pep rally at the B and O station in downtown Kent to send the football team to DeKalb Illinois for a Friday night game against Northern Illinois State Teachers College. Lt Col Thomas F Wall urges students with 9 am classes to attend.

Library Sponsors Movie Tonight

The library will screen Keys of the Kingdom at 6 and 8 15 p.m. in 317 McG. Tickets are available at the library desk. Students must show a student activity card for each ticket. The system aims to regulate attendance and may apply to future films.

Flight Squad Reorganizes at Kent State University

The Kent State University flight squad will hold an organizational meeting at 4 p.m. in room 109M. Open to all certificated pilots. university funds half of practice time and full flight time for those chosen for meets. Last spring the team competed in three local meets and placed third in a regional meet in Kalamazoo, Michigan. William Heinz is student manager, Andrew W. Paton is advisor, and William Lowry is squad coach.

Blue Key Pledges 22 in National Service Honorary

Twenty two men were pledged to Blue Key, a national service honorary. The list includes Chuck Fletcher, Neil Heaslip, Hank Newell, Art Garner, Clarence Peoples, Terry Atkinson, Ed Olsen, Ernie Mauer, Ted Schroder, Bob West, Roger Baele, Jack Young, Joe Friedman, George Scriven, Guy Shelley, Bob Phillips, Tom Drouillard, Bob Morrison, Pete Culler, Gene Berrodin, Len Price and George Hettinger. Applications were trimmed due to group size. pledges await initiation once approved by President George A Bowman and the national chapter.

Cardinal Key Meets Tonight to vote on new members

Cardinal Key, the women's national service honorary, votes on new members tonight at 6 30 in room 210K. The group sells Christmas cards at one dollar per dozen with campus snow scene photos. Janice Flickinger leads the card project and orders are taken through any Cardinal Key member. Cards go on sale after Thanksgiving vacation.
