Hiram Professor Silent on Akron Showboat Plans
Prof Robert I Pearce of Hiram College declined to comment on a Beacon Journal claim that the showboat Majestic will tour next summer under G Harry Wright. The planned run would open April 30 at Point Pleasant and end October 1 in Cincinnati with audition spots for other schools. Wright has promoted and guided the Majestic tour while researching river showboats and Wright is not teaching this quarter.

New Plane For Flying Club At University Meet
The university flying club plans an inter club flying meet at the university air field on November 14 at 1 p.m. using its new 75 hp cub cruiser three seater with 80 mph cruising speed and 280 mile range. The plane has a radio receiver and night position lights. Members pictured are Richard Johnson Ed Mayor and Harold Province.
