Student Council delegated summer powers to committees and officers and distributed mimeographed copies of the proposed constitution at the year’s final meeting. Joe Hart, president, said changes in structure and phraseology are needed before adoption and copies are for study and recommendations. the constitution committee gains power to act until October 1. Hart also can reorganize the committee with conditions.

First Campus Carnival Nets Nearly 200 at Kent State
Approximately 200 was raised for the Kent State Penny Drive as the Men's Union carnival in Wills gym featured nine booths. Sigma Tau Gamma won top honors with 40 dollars, Engleman hall 33.72, and other groups contributed amounts ranging from 5.56 to 25.60 with 60 dollars from door admissions. School Play Sells Tickets With Defense Stamps
