Open Art Deadline Set for April 1 in University Show
Final deadline for entrance in the annual open art competition has been set for April 1. Miss Nina S Humphrey heads the school of art and says the student alumni show begins April 7 and lasts 10 days. Entries must be original and completed without instruction, with works in oil watercolor tempera gouache graphic art advertising art or illustrations. Ted Olson Poetry Prize Opens for Undergrad Submissions
The fifth annual Ted Olson poetry prize will be awarded by the American College Quill club for an original poem or poem group by an undergraduate of any American college or university. Chester E. Marines To Give University Men Physical Exams

American Ballad Singers Thrill 500 With Program
Elie Siegmeister led his sextet of American Ballad singers in a folk program before about 500 fans in the University auditorium.
