University to stage Angel Street with Haines Suvan leads
University Theater announces the cast for Angel Street directed by E Turner Stump. Mary Haines and Edwin Suvan will play Mr and Mrs Manningham with George Papp as Inspector Rough. Elsa Thompkins Lee Ann Shenafiel Clarence Tonka and Ralph Wilde fill supporting roles. The April 12 13 production retells the Gaslight mystery of murder and insanity on Angel Street.

Pin-Up Contest Chooses Corpsman as Dorm Favorite
Last Monday in Moulton halls Corpus Christi dormitory women voted a marine stationed in Corpus Christi as the pin-up man. First place went to 1/c Dick Daugherty from the naval air center, tall with brown hair and blue eyes. Second and third honors were for Lieut Kenneth Grimm, a former university student, submitted by Helen Cardinal and Arnie Richards.

Refund of NTFC stock to athletics sales setup
Dr. Maurice Baum treasurer says $250 will be turned over to varsity athletics while stockholders receive refunds today and next week. Barbara Berkey and Barbara McDowell, sophomores, will handle refunds at the ticket booth outside the Student Council office from 9 to 10 am and 2 to 4 pm. Hours are temporary and ticket sales totaled about $397 so the stock remains untouched.

Men's Debate Squad Competing at Capital University Contest
The men's debate squad travels to Capital University for a two day tournament against Ohio conference participants. Registration Dates Are Set For Incoming Students
Pre-registration days are announced by registrar Emmett C. Stopher. Seniors have a day set aside for permits to register, with juniors next Monday, sophomores Tuesday and Wednesday, and freshmen Thursday and Friday. Rheumatic Fever Sends GSP President Home
Dorothy Humphrey president of Gamma Sigma Phi sorority and vice president of the senior class returned to her home in Geneva Ohio Tuesday where she will be confined to bed for an indefinite period due to rheumatic fever. She is secretary of Women's League and a Chestnut Burr staff member and was Chestnut Burr queen in 1943 and May queen attendant in 1944.
