SC Loses Time In Policy Debate
After a long council session the Student Council and Publications Policy committee could not reach a firm decision on the relationship between the States staff and the advisor of the student publications. A special committee was formed to review alleged discrepancies between the winter Kent Stater and the Standard Operating Procedure for Student Publications. The council approved the new Elections committee appointment and accepted the Pre Law club constitution.

The Edward R. Moore chapter of Arnold Air Society, an honorary Air ROTC fraternity, will hold a formal initiation in the Union Friday at 8 p.m. The group, named for Captain Moore a former Kent State student who died in India on March 4, 1945, aims to foster better Air Force officers. Society officers include Col. John Garrigan, 2nd Lt. Tom Price, Cap. John Spear, Lt. Eugene Jacobson, Lt. Charles Rex, and Sgt. Bill Blunk, all cadet officers.

Greyhound Strike Halts Kent Bus Service
Due to the current Greyhound bus strike there will be no buses leaving Kent until resolution. A Pennsylvania Greyhound bus from Ravenna to Cleveland, via Pittsburgh, will depart Ravenna at 10 38 a.m. 5 28 p.m. and 10 28 p.m. today.

Sign Rush List In Dean's Office
Students wishing to take part in fraternity rushing must sign the rush list tomorrow between 8 a.m. and 4 30 p.m. at the Dean of Men's office. The rushing fee is 1 dollar if the signer has not rushed previously this year. First quarter freshmen and transfer students can sign the list. One must have a 2 point accumulative to be able to pledge. Names will remain on the rush list for two pledge periods or until a man has pledged a fraternity.

Varsity Queen Blanks Due For Valentines Dance
Entry blanks and pictures for Varsity Queen candidates must be submitted by Monday February 4 to Jim Cuppy or Dick Oberdorfer.
