Hershey announces changes to student enlistment rules
Major General Lewis B. Hershey, director of Selective Service, says no special 30 day post school enlistment. Under 1951 amendments students are deferred not postponed and may enlist after their academic year. Deferral applies to I S and II S, local boards reopen classifications, and the right to enlist continues until induction order.

Beta Tau Tarton chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa will host its fourth annual all university Snow Ball at the University club in Akron on January 18. The semi formal runs from 9 to 1 with music by the Noveltones and a $2 per couple admission.
