Freshman Robert L Kondik runs a campus enterprise named Student Service to fund his liberal arts education at Kent State. He offers alarm clock wakeups baby sitting cooking and stenography through a network of fellow students with earnings reported from early work and plans to expand after spring.

Final Plans For Club 43 Underway

Guests of Club 43, the freshman hop, will hear Ross Hala and his orchestra from 9 to 12. Five band members are Kent State students including vocalist Art Baldwin. A few table reservations remain 2 to 4 pm. Open to upperclassmen and freshmen at $1.10 per couple.

University appoints seven new committees for 1940 41

Office of the president announces seven new faculty committees for the 1940 41 academic year and adds student faculty members to existing panels.
