Quincy Howe will headline a forum titled The Return of Power Politics at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday February 25 in 317 McG. Howe is a noted editor author and lecturer with a background at Simon and Schuster Atlantic Monthly CBS and CBS Radio. Young and Straight Win ACS Chemistry Awards
Marilyn Straight and Joseph Young received one year memberships in the American Chemical Society for outstanding chemistry scholarship. Dr. Paul Flory presented the awards at an Akron chemistry majors and faculty meeting. Winners will dine Feb. 20 and get subscriptions to three technical journals. Similar honors are given at Hiram College Mount Union College and Akron University to foster industry education ties.
