A Stater survey of 204 University students shows 80 percent support entertainment as the purpose of commercial films and 39 oppose exploitation for propaganda. Eight percent of enrollment answered three questions on Nazism in moving pictures with 123 affirming excessive anti Nazi framing.

About 300 freshmen under Ray Gallagher plan a trip to the Alhambra Theater in Cuyahoga Falls on Friday February 28 for a theater party. The event, dubbed madhouse by Gallagher, asks students to bring noise makers and duel cards for bus transportation and admission, with upperclassmen selling tickets for 20 cents and activity tickets noted.
Kent State unveils a date bureau similar to Penn State and Ohio University efforts. The Duchess humor publication sponsors a campus service to pair students for social visits, with sororities invited to apply for escorts the same evening.
