Kent State Radio Guild Forms From Workshop
In response to Student Council recommendations the university Radio Workshop changes its name to Kent State Radio Guild and limits the word Workshop to radio facilities on the Kent Hall third floor. The council opposed excluding inactive members from activities funded by allocations and calls for broader participation. The revised constitution is sent for council approval as resignations from top officers are reviewed.

Plans for a second annual short course in public relations are being made by Professor Michael Radock of the University. He left Tuesday for New York to attend the National Public Relations Conference at the Waldorf Astoria on February 5 and 6. The course will run during the June week between the Spring and Summer quarters.

Parking Lot Cuts Traffic Violations At Summit Street
Since opening the new parking lot off Summit street the number of traffic violators has dropped. Pete Heller university traffic director said yesterday the traffic court will begin holding its regular sessions next week. Persons receiving summons and not reporting are automatically guilty.

Booster membership drive drags at quarter mark
On day four of the booster campaign only 425 of 2000 expected members had joined. Weekley noted 1575 memberships remain and success hinges on off campus students and active sales reps. Kappa Mu Kappa led with 100 percent quota, followed by Delta Phi Sigma and Alpha Phi Beta. Booster booth operates daily 10 to 3. Two hundred tickets for Feb 12 KSU Akron game go on sale to members at Goodyear gym for $1.20.

Three New Mathematics Courses Announced for Spring Quarter
