About 300 students and faculty from 23 surrounding high schools attend the fifth annual debating clinic at the University auditorium. Blue Key Initiates 22 Members at Fete Dinner
Blue Key national service honorary will hold initiation services and a banquet on Tuesday December 13 at 6 30 p m. The Robin Hood hosts the event where 22 new members will be honored. Applications Due For National Teachers Exam
The National Testing Service in Princeton New Jersey will handle applications and forward names to the appointments bureau for testing. Exams occur on February 18 with common tests on general culture mental abilities and professional information. Optional tests cover elementary and secondary subject areas with multiple languages and sciences. Results are machine graded and may be reused. candidates may retake to improve scores.

Messiah Sing Here Sunday at University Auditorium
Two performances of Handel’s Messiah Sunday December 11 in the University auditorium. Afternoon concert at 3 o clock features student soloists and the afternoon soloists Evelyn Kolesar and Russell Stone. evening concert at 8 o clock features faculty soloists led by Caro M Carapetyan. Kent State parking rules tighten after city ordinance
Kent City Council passed an ordinance December 5 restricting parking for students. No parking on the east side of S Lincoln Street from E Main to E Summit. Two hour parking limited on E College between S Water and S Lincoln. Ordinance takes effect 30 days after passage.
