Journalism School Opens Multiuse Lab Lounge and Classrooms
The former aeronautics lab at 109 M has become a multi purpose journalism space. It houses classrooms a student lounge reading area teletype booth and meeting rooms. It stores 22 newspapers 12 magazines and complementary copies with an Associated Press teletype in a soundproof booth. Four small offices host Kent Stater Chestnut Burr editor advisor offices. Reduced year in pictures exhibit moved here and Chi Pi Theta Sigma Phi and Kappa Alpha Mu hold meetings in the lounge.

Graduation filings due for liberal arts seniors
Liberal Arts seniors planning to graduate in June must file their application for graduation in the Registrar's office before the end of this quarter. The notice emphasizes the deadline and the registrar’s location for submission.

Open courses add psychology offerings for winter term
The psychology department will offer two extra winter term courses not in the schedule. Psychology 278, a three hour class on Character and Personality, meets at 8 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday taught by Dr. Martin R. Baron. Psychology 471, two hours of Adolescent Psychology, meets at 1 pm on Tuesday and Thursday taught by Dr. Raleigh M. Drake.

Senior Class Committees Set at Three Meetings
Committees were formed for a class banquet, dance, memorial gift to the University, and a dues collection group to gather the $1 yearly dues.
