Denison BG Wooster Take Debate Tourney Honors
Denison Bowling Green and Wooster led the Northeastern Ohio novice debate tourney at the University last Saturday. Each school entered two teams with one BG and one Wooster team undefeated in debates. Kent won seven debates. Denison teams posted top percentage wins overall.

Osborne Announces Messiah Soloists for University Recital
Professor Kenneth Osborne announced the Messiah soloists for the University music program. Harold Haugh from Oberlin tenor, Dorothea Edenlaub from Kent soprano, Eudora Shepherd from Kent contralto, William S. Shepherd’s wife, and Russell Abbott of Lakewood bass form the quartet. The recital Sunday at 3:30 p m in the University auditorium marks the first Messiah here in two years.
