University theater releases over 1800 tickets for Family Portrait
The University theater presents Lenore Coffee and William Joyce Cowen's Family Portrait directed by Prof. E Turner Stump. Thirty five students perform as Jesus' life episodes. Madrigal Singers to Present Christmas Songs
The University Madrigal Singers will perform a Christmas program of carols and hymns in the auditorium at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 8. The group of five men and seven women, directed by Prof Caro Carapetyan, is presenting under the assembly committee and music department. They next perform at the Akron City Club on December 12 at 8:15 p.m.

Student Judges Will Choose Burr Queen

Opening Date Set For New Student Union
Kent State will officially open the new Student Union on December 12, subject to possible delays. The Hub snack bar and soda fountain will operate first with coffee sandwiches and fountain drinks, while bowling alleys billiard rooms and card rooms open at the winter quarter start. An open house and tours will preview the Union with floor plans pamphlets distributed. Dedication ceremonies for the Union Stopher Hall and the Student Health center are set for December 17 along with a community open house on December 17 and 18.
