Phillip Brustein announces a benefit variety show at Memorial Stadium to end with the film Ruthless starring Zachary Scott Louis Hyward Sidney Greenstreet and Martha Vickers. Three showings planned with ticket sales starting August 17 in areas from Akron to Windham and possible door-to-door canvassing. Try-outs for the show begin tomorrow at 7 p.m. in 119K under Curt Sarff.

Guidance tests will be offered Thursday afternoon August 19 in room 317 McGilvrey hall. The Co operative Reading test ACE Psychological examination and Minnesota Paper Form Board mechanical aptitude will be offered at 1 2 and 315 p.m respectively. Graduate students in education may participate and any student uncertain of goals is welcome to take these tests.

ROTC Draft Exempt Clarified for College Cadets
The Army and Air Force announced deferment for selected ROTC students until after completing ROTC and academic courses. Eligibility requires good standing, demonstrated aptitude, summer training, and a commission agreement. ATC students not veterans or with under 90 days service face 21 months officer service. Deferment does not exempt from the draft.

University dance draws 400 plus crowd in July ballroom
