Delegates from five central committees will meet in room 108 Kent hall on consecutive days to select representatives for social and student faculty committees. Monday lists all clubs. Handley Headlines Tuesday Recital At University
Bruce C. Handley, University voice instructor, presents the second in a series of music recitals Tuesday at 8 15 p m in the auditorium. The baritone will sing 16 numbers including Zueignung Life Raggiodose odorose Prologue to Pagliacci and five Schumann Love songs. Professor Fred H Denker will be accompanist. Handley directs the Men s Glee Club and the University A Cappella choir.

Stage NFL Contest Draws Over 200 Students for Speech Finals
More than 200 high school students from the eastern Ohio district enter day two of the National Forensic League state tournament here. Judges include 80 students from Kent State, Wooster College, Akron, and Hiram. Final tests Saturday will be judged by James Holm, Albert Capuder, and Howard Hansen with eight Columbus coaches. Contests cover humorous, oratorical, dramatic declamations, extemporaneous speaking, oratory, and debate. Sixty four students debate the national question on expanding federal powers. Winners advance to Lexington Kentucky.

Margaret Stopher Wins Wisconsin English Fellowship
Margaret Mary Stopher, class of 1937, daughter of Mr and Mrs E C Stopher, won a fellowship in the University of Wisconsin English department. She earned AB and BS degrees at the university and has three years teaching English and speech at East Palestine High School. The award covers $150 out of state fees plus an undisclosed money grant.
