Council May Act Today On Committee Proposals
The constitution revision committee proposes a mixed council with five elected members per class from sophomores to seniors and a freshman board elected by Council. Appointed members include presidents of each class and one rep from interfraternity, Panhellenic, Men’s Union, Women’s League, and Central Committee on Clubs and Honoraries. All members must maintain at least a 2.0 average. Spring elections would replace fall class elections.

One hundred twenty four students from KSU colleges of liberal arts education and business were recommended for dismissal by the faculty committee on scholastic standards after the winter quarter. The committee also proposed 237 students be placed on probation while 117 be removed from probation and 806 remain on probation.

United Independent nominates slate for campus council
The United Independent organization held a three hour meeting to outline its aims and nominate a tentative slate for the April 15 campus elections. Small Decline In Enrollment At Kinson University

Two Summer Sessions Feature Mexico Maine Field Trips
Kent State will offer 479 graduate and undergraduate courses across 34 departments during two 1952 summer sessions. The first six week term runs June 16 to July 25, the five week session from July 28 to August 29. New freshmen may enter either term. Field trips include a Mexico history art trip in the first term and a Mt Desert Island geology field trip in the second term.

Tischendorf Named Arts Head at University
Prof. Elbert W. Tischendorf of the industrial arts department has been appointed head of the department after serving as acting head since November 1. A native of Indiana, he joined the faculty in 1932 and has degrees from Kansas State University Ohio State University Indiana State Teachers Baldwin Wallace and Western Reserve. He has taught in Indiana Stow and Mentor high schools and is active in the Ohio Industrial Arts Association and the American Vocational Association.
