Old Fashioned Southern Campaign at St Stephen’s Tent
A large tent is set up at 12th Street and Michigan Avenue by St Stephen’s Missionary Baptist Church Kansas City for a citywide revival led by Dr T C Walker of Augusta Georgia. Rev J W Hurse preaches at 11 00 am and again at 8 00 pm with morning Sunday School at 9 30 am. An afternoon covenant meeting at 3 30 pm conducted by Rev J H Daniels features a 100 voice choir and five piece orchestra. The campaign runs thirty days starting Sunday June 16. Clarabel Brown church clerk and Rev J W Hurse pastor invite all churches and pastors to attend.
