In Garnett Kansas a variety of short items are recorded including travel to Iola and Kansas City by residents Mrs En McDowell and D V Stoll, cattle and hog shipments from Stoll and Babcock, Miss Chloe Irwin finishing a term at Oxford, Maud Miller taking charge of the post office, Rev Wilson to conduct Presbyterian services, and the death of Flora Caldwell in Battle Creek Michigan with funeral plans announced. Roy Kyner remains ill with typhoid pneumonia.
