EPC Forms Task Force to Review Kalamazoo College Plan
A Kalamazoo College Educational Policies Committee task force on Academic Planning will review the 12 year old four quarter calendar. Members include Dr. Conrad Hilberry Dr. Stanley Rajnak Dr. Richard Stavig Willard Washburn and Provost Dr. John Satterfield. The group will study intensive scheduling and calendar options and solicit input from the college community.

Shoben Explains Evergreen Experiment

Film Class Cut by Kalamazoo College Instructor

Kowatzki Disappears Delays German Literature Course
Four courses were dropped this quarter including German 54 due to the absence of Dr. Kowatzki who is recuperating in Palo Alto California from a heart condition. She spent August in a Yugoslav hospital and a German visit followed before leaving the United States. On sick leave this quarter she remains in California per medical advice and will not return next quarter. she may teach Stylistics in Summer Quarter.

Registration withdrawals limit credit enrollments through Wednesday
Alumni and students from Western and K sat in the class on an audit basis, delaying records of credit enrollment. By Wednesday, registration closed and all but the first 55 registrants received withdrawal notices. Withdrawn students avoided late registration charges but faced a week and a half delay to enter new courses.
