Gibbs Scholarship Offers Two National Awards for 1957-58
The Katharine Gibbs School offers two national scholarships for college senior girls for 1957 58. Established in 1935 as a memorial to Mrs Katharine M Gibbs the awards include full tuition of 685 dollars for the secretarial training course plus a 500 dollar cash prize totaling 1185 dollars. Winners may choose among Gibbs schools in Boston New York Montclair or Providence and are selected by the Scholarship Committee based on grades character financial need and business potential. Each college may nominate two candidates with official endorsement. Interested students may obtain full information from the college placement bureau.
