The board named Ay mar Embury II of New York architect for the men’s dormitory to open next fall. Enos A. DeWaters chairs the building committee. plans will be ready in two to three weeks for final details. The site sits behind Williams Hall near the gym with Academy Street as the front. Acting president Goodsell will tour eastern colleges for reference.

Woman Delegate on Athletic Board Urged
An amendment to add the athletic chairman of the Women's League to the College Athletic Board was presented at assembly and had been approved by the Senate. The proposed change would modify Article VI Section 1 of the constitution to include a women’s representative on the Athletic Board of Control.

Williams Hall at Kalamazoo College Faces Demolition
Ninety years of history end as Williams Hall, built in 1846 and once the Kalamazoo Theological Seminary, is slated for tore down this summer after a building committee inspection deeming it of no value. The fire of 1916 and its later uses as dormitory and barracks mark a storied past.

Hopeful Outlook For June Grads
College graduates show strong employment prospects with 58 of 60 graduates from the 1936 class engaged in some work. Business journalism and social work lead, nine men and eight women entering these fields. Teaching adds seven more. Four married women among the class, while half of the 36 men pursue further study. Debaters Pursue March Pi Kappa Delta Trip Funds
Six team members visited Hope College on December 18 to practice with Holland debaters as part of efforts to raise funds for a March Texas trip to the national Pi Kappa Delta forensic tournament. Debaters, speech students, and audience members observed without making decisions.

Kalamazoo College Delegates Report Great ISVMS Convention
Three Kalamazoo College deb gates James Allen Dorothy Simpson and Louise Barrows attended the International Student Volunteer Movement convention in Indianapolis. About three thousand students and world leaders discussed world affairs from December 28 through January, with speakers including Kagawa Dr Temple and T Z Koo. The group described the event as large and influential and noted emphasis on internationalism and applying Christian ideals.

The Boiling Pot staff complete plans for an 80 page yearbook at $1.50 with campus photos and uniform portraits from Neifert's Studio. Student subscriptions must be paid by February and a deficit clause limits potential debt to 40 cents per person while advertisers seek funding.

Two New Courses Added to Curriculum This Semester
Students must register by Saturday noon January 16 to avoid late fees. The history and English departments with Dr Arnold Mulder and Prof Willis Dunbar offer a biography course covering eighteenth century statesmen and literati. Dr Robert Cornell teaches a political science course on the philosophy of governmental law. Additional alternating courses include economics history Latin philosophy and psychology with revised class times for philosophy and art courses.
