Kalamazoo College Unveils High Power Radio Station WOAP
A new college radio station at Kalamazoo College will begin operation in two weeks. Station WOAP boasts a 100 mile range and will serve Kalamazoo and surrounding areas including Holland Muskegon Grand Rapids Jackson Battle Creek and South Bend. The setup includes a 2 kilowatt generator with remote control and experimental license 8XF. Regular tri weekly programs start 6 30 p m with music talks weather reports and campus features.

The group anticipates a successful cruise under the new officers and notes winter term is ideal for earnings and social events.
