Fire Department Answers Two Alarms This Week
The Junction Fire Department logged two calls this week under Fire Chief Leon R. Powell. A Texas Consolidated truck hauling 5,000 gallons of 100 octane gas burned out its brakes near the South Llano bridge but the load remained undamaged. A second fire at Junction School burned cedar wood, with about a quarter of a cord lost.
