Internal Revenue Man Visits Kimble Courthouse

Winters Named New Director of Public Welfare in Texas
The State Board of Public Welfare appoints John H. Winters executive director of the Texas public welfare department. Winship Suffer Burns and Injury Cranking Engine
Robt. N. Winship Jr. received severe burns and a broken ankle Sunday while cranking a gasoline engine on the Winship ranch near Segovia. The blast sprayed fuel, he jumped toward a creek to douse the flames, grabbed a vine that broke, and he swam across to safety before admission to Gatesville that night. He is superintendent of the School for Boys at Gatesville and was visiting his parents on the Segovia ranch.

Jurors Deadlock in Robinson vs Powell Collision Suit
