Junction Lions Club members attended the district gathering in San Saba on Tuesday April 22. Attendees were President G H Delano B F Smith E O Longren Walter Buck Alton Mason and Clay Secrest. The next district meeting will be in Mason June 11 with a Mason Lions evening to welcome visiting Lions. The San Saba club was praised for hospitality and support with representation from every club in the district except Coleman and Eden.

4-H Baby Beeves to Be Auctioned at Park Bandstand
Three feeder stock baby beeves weighing about 845 pounds each will be auctioned at 4 p.m. Friday from the Schrenier Park bandstand. Woodrow Rothmann and Neal Lambert conducted the demonstrations. County Agent R. E. Homan will be auctioneer. The cattle are in excellent condition and not show stock. Next year more 4-H club boys will demonstrate feeding baby beeves.

New Bandstand Dedication At Schreiner Park
Tuesday evening dedication of the new bandstand in Schreiner Park attracted a large crowd.
