The Kimble County Red Cross annual campaign nears its final drive with a $2400 quota, $1100 kept locally. School And City Elections In Junction Set For April

TSGRA Directors Endorse Government Wool Purchase
The Texas Sheep Growers Ranchers Association directors voted unanimously to back a government purchase of the domestic wool clip. The Department of Agriculture will buy wool and mohair with funds from the Commodity Credit Corporation at ceiling prices less handling costs. The next meeting is set for June in Fort Stockton, with over 300 people at a steak dinner in Sonora.

Mrs Roy Skaggs Returns From Washington visit
Mrs Roy Skaggs came back from Washington D C after being summoned in December due to the illness of sister Mrs Willa V Dunn. Dunn died after several weeks of suffering and Mrs Skaggs stayed to settle the estate and visit kin in Akron Canton Waynesboro Louisville and Canton again where the funeral was held.
