Bob Motley Leads Eagles To Track Win Over Sonora

Junction Eagle star Bob Motley scored 15 of 54 team points in a 54 48 dual meet over Sonora. Motley won the 100 yard dash in 10.1 and the 220 in 22.2, while other Junction athletes claimed top finishes including Ray Dobbs in the high hurdles and J W Smith clearing 10 feet 1 inch in the pole vault.

Heart Fund Donation Sent To San Angelo Chapter

A Kimble County contribution of 69.50 was mailed Tuesday to the San Angelo Chapter of the Texas Heart Association by Lord Williamson, county fund drive chairman. Frank Randolph won the grand championship with a Rambouillet ewe at the Hill Country Fair Grounds show for 4 H FFA and FHA clubs.
