Brady Boosters Spend Night in Junction
Brady visitors arrived by train with a brass band and orchestra for a Court House lawn concert and dance. Local Chamber committee welcomed them with speeches by County Judge Farmer and Frank Wilson. Junction officials and residents enjoyed the crowd, while noting Junction’s improving streets and active commerce. The Sheep and Goat Raisers Convention will be held in Brady later in July. Commissioner Hodges leads street improvements. Camp Wood Crony notes Junction commercial club, with Lawrence Johnson as secretary, plans to spur delinquents.

A light turnout gathered for a preliminary meeting and temporary officers were elected F E Garrett treas F M Cowsert secretary Robert Real honorary president H G Perry president. The group discussed dissolving the local Game and Fish Protective Assn into Izaak Walton members with funds kept by the Eagle editor until disposal authorization.

Chamber of Commerce directors met at State Bank to push securing the headquarters for the American Angora Goats Breed ers Assn in Junction. J B Randolph and A O Lawler presented the plan. a membership meeting is set for Camp Wood on the 18th to decide the permanent home. Jack Turner aided the former organization and will be present to advocate fair treatment for members of the consolidated group. The Chamber backs the effort with moral and financial support.

Junction Hardware Co Promotes Town with New Folders
The Junction Hardware Co and Loeffler Motor Co prepared six page illustrated folders featuring Kimble County and local places of interest. The folders are mailed nationwide to attract tourists and homeseekers while the Eagle newspaper highlights the firm as its largest advertising customer. Mesdames Wright and Murphey returned home this week from visits in Dublin and Dallas. A large local stockman turnout is expected for the Record Ass’n meeting and the Imported Angora Goat Sale on the 19th and 20th.
