Bernard Wiegmann a Joliet pioneer aged 76 died at his home after a long illness. Born in Germany on July 25 1837 he came to Joliet in 1869 and worked at Joliet Stove Works. He served five years in the Volunteer Fire Department and helped build the works. He is survived by his wife Mary Reveann and seven children. The funeral, with pallbearer his son, will be held at 9 from his home and Interment in St Johns cemetery Joliet.
