62 Members Negro 4-H Attend County Meeting
An enthusiastic group of 4-Hers and leaders from Marion County traveled to the Marion County 4-H Conservation Camp at Macedonia High School, 12 miles west of Jefferson, August 45 and 26. The camp theme echoed the 4-H motto To Make the Best Better, with 62 members participating. Courses covered crafts recreation grooming wildlife and soil and water conservation to develop the 4-Hs head hands heart and health through panel discussions demonstrations and recreation.
