In Cimaha on March 7 two masked highwaymen attacked Craig McQuaid on Twenty third Street near California. McQuaid, unarmed, raised his hands as one robber fired wounding his left wrist. the robbers seized his heavy gold watch and chain, then fled down Burt Street. Fellow victim G G McQuaid’s friend at whose home the card party ended also lost $50 and a revolver.
