Sam F. Dalton, 57, died when two cars collided eleven miles south of Sedalia. His wife Sue was shocked but not severely injured. Parole Granted for Fulton Hospital Theft Case
William Henry Attebery pleaded guilty to receiving and possessing stolen property from State Hospital No. 1 and was granted parole after a two year prison sentence. He was the first of six men indicted by a Callaway County grand jury last May in a probe of thefts from the hospital. Local Woman Hurt When Hit by Car
A 65 year old woman was admitted to Charles E. Still Hospital after being struck by an automobile at Broadway and High streets at 8 10 a m today. Edith Adams of 2006 Meadow Lane was injured when Mrs J D Amos of 900 Jackson St drove the car. The extent of injuries was undetermined at noon but hospital said the condition is satisfactory and she’s not complaining. The driver said her car brushed Adams as she turned east from Broadway onto High Street.

Gene Gosch, the Chamber’s executive manager, said the appointment fills a vacancy after Dick Rowlette became manager of the Menominee, Michigan Chamber.
