In Portland Oregon December 4 AP reports the coroner's inquest into Mrs Leon Bowles death recalls Dr Paul B Cooper as a witness. Bowles a society matron died of a knife wound November 12 in the apartment of Mrs Irma Loucks Paris. Paris and Nelson Bowles 34 are charged with her murder. Dr Cooper earlier said Bowles lived 20 minutes after his arrival but later recanted claiming a longer delay. Autopsy surgeon said the wound could have been self inflicted.
