Boy Kicked by Horse Near Boston Suffers Facial Injuries
The 12 year old son of farmer Mr. Dickey living half a mile south of Boston was kicked in the face by a horse. His cheek was cut nose crushed and one eye badly damaged. He was taken to Jasper for care by Mr. Schooler. He is badly disfigured now but is not believed to suffer permanent injury.

City council passes Traffic Ordinance No 2
The city council approved Traffic Ordinance No. 2 regulating motor vehicle use and it is now in effect after mayoral signing. Drivers should study the provisions to stay safe. The ordinance appears in another column of this paper. Correspondents are asked to mail letters by Monday evening.
New High School Enrollment Brings Larger Freshman Class
The second week of school saw enlarged enrollment in both the high school and grades.
