Miss Mabel Harris, youngest daughter of J. TH Harris, married Roy Bryant of Prosperity at the Harris home in Jasper. The ceremony was led by Rev J W Moore. The bride wore light yellow silk and will be missed in church and social circles. Bryant, a Prosperity merchant and Sunday School officer, took his bride to a home in Prosperity and they planned a short honeymoon to the Ozarks. The wedding party included family and friends from Jasper County. In Columbus Kansas, Joe B Edwards and Miss Beulah Patterson wed at the M E Church parsonage with Rev E J Gardner officiating and honeymooning in Dallas and southern points. The two unions connect Jasper County families. the bride, daughter of IT Patterson, and Edwards, son of J W Edwards, both well liked. The bride has been a noted violinist and they will reside on a farm south of Jasper. See that Dr. McCoy name is on your ballot.

Bridge accident injures Mrs. Grider near Jasper
Last Thursday afternoon Kell Boyd, Mrs. M I Grider and a young son rode north from Jasper when a stone sunk into a hole on the Coon Creek bridge. The buggy toppled over the approach into the water. Mrs Grider suffered two broken ribs and severe shoulder and hip injuries but is recovering. Charley Ward, the new road overseer, repaired the bridge the next day.
