Death of John Rout, Longtime Local Resident
John Marion Rout, a longtime resident eight miles northeast of eet, died last Friday at nearly 75. Born July 25, 1838, he married Hester Prowse on December 30, 1869. Survived by four daughters, he had been ill about a year with kidney trouble and was bedbound only a few days. Interment followed at Nashville Cemetery.
