Youthful tragedy ends life after note left
Charley McKinney aged 14 of Cave Springs wrote a goodbye letter after a minor quarrel with his mother. He then used a 16 gauge shotgun to take his life, dying within minutes before help arrived. He was brother to Hazel McKinney, who was murdered near their home a year prior.
