Jasper Crushes Lamar In Twin Wins At Opera House

Jasper High School toppled Lamar in both first and second games at the opera house. The varsity won 34 to 15 after leading 14 to 5 early, with Mugers Webb Masters Joddard Melten and Fellers Pinks Hayes Ulrich Wright in key roles. The Jasper second team rebounded for a 15 to 6 win after losing 21 to 12 in the opener.

Miss Bright Hosts Philathea Class Night Fun

Ada McQuillin Marries Mise Ada MrcQuillin of Jasper

Miss Ada McQuillin of Jasper and Mr Mo M. Noaks recently from Okiboma were married Sunday at noon at the bride’s home. Rev A G Bryant of Webb City officiated. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mrs B J McQuillin and has lived in Jasper all her life. Mr Noaks is a carpenter of sterling character, and the couple will reside in Jasper for the present.

Amoma Class Supper Enjoyed and Funds Raised

The Amoma class box supper Saturday night drew a large crowd and yielded a satisfactory financial result. An entertainment was followed by a box auction. Fern Weston won carnations as the most popular young lady and Cherence Conroy earned a jar of pickles as the lovesick prize. All reported a good time. Contributed.
