H O Earls sixth annual mile sale drew about 600 people from southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas. Colonels Bo Nex and Radford officiated as 35 routes sold at an average 154 dollars per head, total advertised sale 8420. Buyers saw future value, no stock shipped, dealers took six spans. rest went to farmers. Zion ladies served lunch for about 60 dollars.
