Prison Life lecture at church aims to aid Epworth League
Dr J J Martin pastor of the M Ee Church will present a lecture titled Prison Life at the M Ee Church Friday night April 14. Proceeds go to the Epworth League. Martin, formerly chaplain of the State penitentiary at Jefferson City, promises an entertaining program. Admission 10 cents for pupils and 25 cents for others.

Does Anti-Toxin affect the Heart?
In an interview Dr Knott explains that diphtheria anti-toxin does not cause fatal heart damage. the heart is affected by the poison itself. He cites Pauline Wine’s case, noting the anti-toxin had not been given and suggests her heart might have failed anyway if choking had not occurred.
Jasper visitors examine Jasper Club credit system
