Special to The Morning Post reports the Woman's Relief Corps No 150 of the EE I Carpenter Post held an installation at the Masonic lodge with Miss Blanche Brodt presiding. New officers include Anna Hoag as president and Grace Vornberger as junior vice president, plus appointed roles in music, press, and color bearing. The event followed a December report and a Christmas relief effort that distributed baskets to the sick and needy.

Club banquet marks committee appointments in town
The event featured announcements of committee assignments by the chairman and Mrs. Marguerite Mascaro. Rev. M. V. Stone gave a talk on the Grand Army of the Republic and the Woman's Relief Corps. On New Year’s Day the First Lutheran Church held its annual business meeting with Rev J L Benson chairing and Anthony Peterson reelecting as secretary. Trustees A Johnson and C A Erickson for three years. deacons Erick Erickson and Mrs William Dudley elected. Receipts exceeded $3,000 with a 56 cent balance. Luther League raised 650 still due. Ladies’ Aid funded the new addition. Pledges for 1930 up $200. Sunday School praised. Erick Erickson elected delegate to New York Conference Akron Ohio in May. Peterson as alternate. Henry Jacobson elected delegate to the conference.
