Erie Train No 9 stalled in a snowdrift at Eden Center after leaving Buffalo at 2 15 P M for Jamestown. With five locomotives attached, crews and 150 Buffalo laborers to shovel snow into water tanks to keep steam, passengers including Mrs E C Bailey and Professor among Jamestown group planned to sleep in coaches overnight.
