Marriage of Local Interest

A request reached this office to change the address of subscriber Miss Chloe Mahoney of Albion Idaho to Mrs. B F Neelands of St Ignatius Montana. We infer a recent wedding of two former Jackson Valley residents. Miss Mahoney taught in Jackson schools and Mr Neelands worked for the U S Bureau of Safety in dam construction at Jackson Lake. Both have many local friends wishing them happiness. Mr Neelands now with the U S B S at St Ignatius.

Lost Mare and Illness Struck Ranch Trouble

Mart Henrie suffered misfortune crossing Teton Pass when a matched dun mare died from blood poison. The loss complicates mating due to color. Henrie also damaged a wheel, requiring Tom Estes to haul freight. Hyrum Mellinelly, long employed on the Wilson ranches, lies seriously ill with abdominal troubles under Dr. Huff care.

Jackson School Enrollments Rise in Third Week

The Jackson public school reports its third week with strong growth. Superintendent Hemphill cites enrollment over 100, nearing 125, and the high school at its largest in Jackson. New facilities include a sanitary fountain and bell. upstairs move planned when extra room finishes. Teachers named. public invited to inspect work. local residents visit and run small ads.
