County Superintendent eG Nicholson arrived in Jackson Wednesday and plans to visit schools throughout the valley. Mrs Nicholson had expected to come earlier but was called to Branston for family matters. She will stay with Mrs BL Calter while in Jackson.
Rev Balcom will hold regalia morning and evening services in Jackson on the upcoming Sunday, with additional services at Flat Creek on the third Sundays next month. Residents report hunters returning from Cach Creek and Mt Leidy region with little success due to dry weather.
St. John's Public Library in Jackson receives complete sets of Mark Twain Kipling and Owen Winter works, a gift linked to local author Wister. The library also adds many single volumes, reflecting strong community interest and ongoing subscriptions. Open to townspeople and ranchers for reading and selection.
A new store building is planned in Jackson to house the Jackson Drag Co. The brick veneer structure, labeled W524, will sit on the lot north of Spicer and Lloyd's building and include an oil basement. Construction contracts are expected to be let soon.

The State Game Department organized a wolf and coyote hunting campaign with wardens stationed at an established camp to protect game. Hunters will be paid for fifteen days of work, with pelts retained, and need support from stock associations and the state. Walter Ima'las has been appointed to lead in the Valley, with Mr Dratian noted for past success as a wolf hunter.
The newly purchased pool table for the Jacksons Hole Men’s Club arrived in Viewur and will be moved to the club room by W. E Wardle on Saturday.
