A diligent high school football squad prepares at Frontier Park for an afternoon game against a Jackson beat team. They also challenge both Kelly and Victor squads to meet them in a future match.
Hose of the KemMerer Camera spoke by telephone to R. Van Vieck on Monday seeking confirmation of the number of Democratic candidates appearing at Wilson tonight October 14, at Kelly tomorrow night, and at Jackson Saturday night. They will bring good speakers to present the issues and a dance will follow each meeting.
Mrs W C Delaney underwent a serious operation at the L D 3 hospital in East Lake City last Thursday morning. Wires received by Mr Delaney since indicate she is doing fine. Her daughters Misses Fao and Canova are with her.
Wyo ranch owner warns hunters not to hunt on his property near Kelly and Wxi. The report notes Driggs Idaho undertaker W. J. King collected the body of F. J. Stryker, who drowned, and officials delayed the return train at Driggs to Victor to allow the transport.
A Kansas man, E. M. Stryker of Fredonia, drowned when a canoe overturned on Charles Hedrick's ranch eight miles north of Grovant. Stryker, an athlete and strong swimmer, failed to reach shore after a duck hunting trip, despite stripping to swim. Neighbors and Hedrick aided a night search. body recovered around 10 AM the next day.
The will of the late Mrs. Balle Flanders bequeaths Frontier Park to Jackson with conditions for the city. Mayor Grace Miller calls a mass meeting of Jackson artisans on Monday night October 18 at 8 PM in the I C O hall to read the will and discuss the citys obligation and future welfare.
Chas Hedrick worked hours to recover the body of E M Stryker and became very ill from exposure and exhaustion. He grew unconscious, suffered cramps, and convulsions as friends rallied to revive him amid cold weather and fatigue.
Billie Grant, son of Mr and Mrs Wm Grant of Wilwon, fell ill with appendicitis over a week ago. Parents delayed bringing him to Jackson until Thursday night. He was admitted to St Johns Hospital and operated on by Dr Huff the next day. The case had progressed to a pure condition and ruptured before surgery. J L Dodge from Wilson visited last Saturday for business and social matters.

St John Church announces regular Sunday service at 11 00 A M with church school at 10 00 A M. Parents are invited to send their children to the church school for thorough training in the Christian religion.
Local relics reveal the 1808 Grand Tetons ascent by Peter son and a four man Denver Alpine Club party. A monument five feet high marks their rock inscriptions at the middle peak with the names of Owens Frank Peterson Shive and others. The ascent began at 4 AM August 11 1808 and ended at midnight with camp at timber line. Rev E R Evans slated to visit Wyoming January to serve as pastor at large. Roy B Losier and family now near Long Valley California report contentment with the ranch life. J D Fannin seeks a man and wife for an all winter ranch job near Rik.
