T N Nickell a Cly war veteran offered services at the Saturday tricide meeting in Jackson. He noted many tasks but can do as well as younger men. C J Allyn a valley elder tried to enlist, was told his years exceed the age limit, and returned Monday with four recruits and offered 240 acres of prime potato land on ranch Nant Kelly for galley use. B Leek also offered a substantial ranch tract and agreed to plow for those wishing to grow large gardens.

Annual Card Party at Pure Food Club
The Pure Food Club held its annual card party at the Club House on Wednesday evening with over eighty attendees. Eighteen tables of high five were played. prizes awarded to Mrs C J Wort and Mrs J C Rutherford for ladies, Dr Reed for gentleman, with Margyle Sewell and Clarence Blain as consolation winners. Refreshments of sandwiches, coffee, ice cream, and cake were served.

Ranchers Whidden Gillespie Secure Jackson Hole Ranches
A J Whidden and W K Gillespie of St Anthony Idaho have cloned a den for purchase of the Jol Cherry and Newton Nickell ranches about miles north of Jackson. The combined properties form a 600 acre lane with spring work planned. The new owners are enterprising and could add value to Jacksons Hole. Cherry and Nickell plans remain unclear with Cherry saying he plans rest.
