Community Club Meeting Set for April Seventh

Disjointed notes recount a community club meeting led by President De Hui to form neighborhood committees for Good Toads Day. The date was adjusted to April 7 at 8 PM to accommodate travel to Jackson. Members urged to attend and support the event.

Elk roams public road and ranch yard causing delays

A cow elk and four calves wandered from the government ranch into Elk County last Friday morning. The cow paused in the Reed corral area blocking traffic for hours while the calves returned to the ranch. Mayor H. W. Delaney and Game Warden Seebolins engaged Deputy McDougall to capture the starved animal as storms began.

Relief Society Marked 75th Anniversary in LDS Church

Mrs. O L Lunbeck hosted Relief Society members at her mother Mrs. Charles Delaney’s home on March 17 to celebrate the organization’s 75th anniversary. Sixteen members attended with a Belief Bogery Magazine program, followed by refreshments. Invitations issued for an informal dance at the Sackson High School nest Friday by Mr and Mrs William Leclemire. The Bachelors Dance, postponed from January 12, planned for Club Mouse on April 14. Also notes livestock and Community Club meetings in Jackson on Saturday April 7. A pair of gloves and coffee offered with job of happiness or saddling at Jackson Bankenaie Co. Mr Joe Markham and son visited from Moran.

Joint Meeting of Stockmen Forms Jacksons Hole Association

At the Jacksons Hole Wolf Bounty Association last meeting a committee planned a livestock men organization. A later effort formed the Jacksons Hole Cattle and Horse Association with a constitution and by laws. Both groups will meet April 7 to discuss the new charter and invite all stockmen to join.

Ben Garten Reunites With Bride After Secret Romance

Ben Garten returns to Jackson's Hole with his bride Miss Bertha Storer after a spring marriage in Kearney Nebraska on March 14. The couple will live on a Kelly area ranch. A crowd celebrated at the Hotel Jackson with a 300 pound boiler plate, cigars, and a new gasoline lamp as a homecoming gift.
