Stockmen Meet in Wolf Bounty Association Annual Session

Despite bad roads a sizable group of stockmen attended the Wolf Bounty Association annual meeting last Saturday. Officers were re-elected, a ten cent assessment was approved to sustain the wolf and coyote bounty, and talks on forming a permanent stock association continued with broad support. W J Kelly was appointed to collect assessments, while discussions with Grovent cattle men and Supervisor Miller led to plans for a Jacksons Hole Live stock Association with a drafting committee to prepare a constitution and bylaws. A general meeting and wider invitation are planned. Four Saue Two coming three year old Short Horn bulls and three coming five year old White Mace bulls from Trexler and Mosser herd were noted from EuK Ranch Co.

Jackson Town Purchases Seven Vacant Lots for Public Square

In adjourned meeting Tuesday night the Jackson town board bought seven vacant lots in the Club House Addition to create a public square. An eighth Woodman Hall lot is needed to complete the square, with plans to move the hall later if possible. The action is hailed by town supporters.

Dinner for six ladies at Hotel Jackson hosted by Mrs Miller

Mrs Miller entertained six ladies at dinner at Hotel Jackson last Saturday noon. The husbands were all Hospital Advisory Board members and Rev Balcom was a guest. The meal aimed to give relief from culinary duties and was followed by informal card games at the Miller home.

Community Club Sets Goals at Monday Meeting

A large gathering at St. Johns House heard plans for the year ahead. Dr O W Hut elected president Ro Vane Vieck vice president Clark Scott secretary Harry Wagner treasurer. Good Roads Days to be expanded with local committees. bridge machinery purchase at Jackson Lake Dam rejected. Annual dues set at two dollars to support Frontier Beet activities and local welfare.

Hotel Jackson Sale Closes. New Owner Takes Helm

The Hotel Jackson sale completed last Saturday with J. Wort becoming owner and Jack Frost named manager. Former manager L. A. Loomis moves to the Jacob Johnson House awaiting spring ranch plans in Zenith neighborhood. An opening turkey dinner, 50 cent meals, and weekly Sunday dinners begin under new management as Mrs. Mayer plans Civic League entertainment and a short program.

Pure Food Club Seeks Next Gathering at Leek Ranch

Pure Food Club met lash Friday afternoon with Mrs Harry Wagner and Mrs Richard Winger at Mrs Winger s home. Cards were played and a veiled centerpiece served. Members and their families are invited to Leek ranch next Saturday night for an evening of yard games. The next meeting will be held at Mrs B P Wils home Friday March Wet with Mrs Kills and Mrs T M Estes as hosts.

N Leek presents a large frame with twelve hand colored pictures at St Johns House. A prize wall at St Patrick's dance Friday night March with 85.00 cash prize from Jackson Drug Co. Rev Baloo sick with tonsillitis, no church services last Sunday, Baloo improving. Bachelor’s Dance postponed from January 7 at the Club Mouse Friday April 13 at the Hotel Jackson with supper.
